Set in a Spanish-influenced villa complex, those willing to venture out to PuDong can savor one of the most decadent and reasonably priced packages. Snuggle up in a milk bath strewn with petals, before enjoying an oil massage to loosen the muscles and a body scrub to cleanse the skin. This combination lasts two hours and includes a rose, a glass of wine each and a box of hand-made chocolates - all for RMB1088 per couple (plus 15 percent surcharge for non-members). The special runs for the whole of February.
SPA AT THE PENINSULA
At the ESPA in the Peninsula Hotel, they're offering just one day when couples can make an appointment for an afternoon of bliss. Start with a four-course, poolside lunch to get you in the mood; then retire to a private suite, and spend 50 minutes in the steam shower or the rose petal hydrotherapy bath. This is followed by a two-hour, signature salt-and-oil body scrub and a full-body aromatherapy massage. As a memento, each visitor receives a soothing candle. RMB3800 per couple (plus 15 percent service charge).
EVIAN SPA
On the prime Bund stretch, Three on the Bund's Evian Spa takes couples on a romantic journey to the heart of luxury all through February. Incorporating the obligatory rose-scented hydrotherapy bath, the three-hour session also includes a vitalizing skin treatment, a soothing Swedish massage, and an expert wash and blow-dry to leave no part of the body unattended. Priced at RM3999 per couple (including service charge), the package also encompasses rose tea and flowers.
