well both comment on the top are not well funded and seems completely wrong.we went there , service is perfect and you have the feeling that you are out of china in a cozy country European .Mussel pot small is 98 rmb and big is 148 rmb , not like the comment who said 200 rmb .i tired the veal rack , the lamb , they were really good, the best thing you do is to go there and try yourself.and for the comment above , about the nationality of the manager , does is matter really if he is Belgian or french.i don't understand really this kind of comments

I don't recommend this restaurant either. I'm from Belgium and I can tell you that they have only the name that is belgian! The manager is from France and his "salade liégeoise" is in fact a "salade niçoise".

The Good, The Bad, The Ugly..I went there with a bunch of friend, ready to enjoy mussels and Belgian beers. The Place offers a nice and cosy environment, and drink list offers a wide selection of Trappist beers. Those go perfect with the mussels available on the menu. They come with a few French fries (the parsley on the picture above gives the scale – potatoes a getting expensive I guess).Anyway, that’s for the good.Expect about 200 Yuans for a large portion of mussels (6 different taste available plus a beer. And that’s alright and decent. It does not go so well if you try traditional French cuisine available, the greasy chicken, or the onion-and-cheese-soup-without-cheese don’t deserve more of your attention, stick with the mussels.Things went wrong when we ordered desserts. The menu shows “Belgium WaffleS with cream and chocolate” – 50 yuans ?sound fair isn’t it ?We were amazed when the plates arrived to see a HALF waffle covered with spray cream and chocolate out from a tube. That’s for the bad.The Manager happened to appear at that moment, so we used the opportunity for a few tactful commentAbout the half waffle ?: Well, that’s how we serve them here !You don’t like the taste ?: Well you are not Belgian, that’s why !A noddle shop at the corner of the street give more customer service, and concern about the client feedback.Unforgivable, for a restaurant of that standard in ShanghaiThat’s for the ugly. There are many other places in Shanghai to enjoy Belgian beer and Mussels. I don’t recommend this one
