The Grand Cinema is also known as the Grand Cinema Gallery and Grand Theater. It is a historical theater located at 216 West Nanjing Road in the Huangpu district in Shanghai, China. As one of the oldest cinemas in Shanghai, the Grand Cinema was designed by the famous Hungarian architect Laszlo Hudec and built-in 1928. The Grand Cinema’s unique artistic architectural style makes it one of the magnificent buildings in Shanghai since the 1930s. The theater is huge and has 1,794 seats divided into 6 rooms, including a huge two-story main room. The hotel has a VIP room with 25 seats. They provide 3D and 4K cinema but no IMAX tickets. The tickets will cost between 80 and 120 RBM (half the price on apps like Gewara). The tickets on Tuesday and Wednesday are half the price of the regular price.
