Duoyun Bookstore

Duoyun is part of a huge Chinese publishing group that also owns several other bookstores in the city, including Sinan Books. However, this flagship store is the most impressive. It is located on fifty-two floors of the Shanghai Tower and offers a panoramic view of Lujiazui. The interior was designed by the same person who made Sinan’s books about Gaolan Lu, very modern but not sterile. This bookstore has been Wanghong for a long time. When it was first opened, the input queue was over an hour long. There are window seats where you can read or dream above the clouds. There is a wide selection of Chinese literature and novels, as well as an illuminated English section of the London Review.
